TRANSYLVANIA BAPTIST ASSOCIATION CHURCH NEWS

 Blue Ridge– October 18 is the youth service at 7:30 p.m. with food and fellowship following the service.  Wednesday, October 30, is when we have our fifth Wednesday night fellowship dinner at 7:00 p.m.  Feel free to bring a covered dish and join us.  All are invited to attend the youth meeting as well.  BoylstonWe are still in need of a church organist.  September 15—Dr. Mike Miller spoke at Boylston; September 22—Church Homecoming:  Had Dianna Delp and Carolina Spring Band with Rev. David Blackney.  Brevard First—Brevard First Baptist will be hosting an International Bible Fellowship ladies Bible study  6:00 PM to 8:00 PM each Tuesday night Sept., 2019 – May, 2020.  This is a non-denominational highly respected group with solid literature.  Their mission is to get women into deeper study of God’s word and deeper fellowship with God.  For questions, call Joyce Owens (828)421-8686. Morning Worship Services are being broadcast every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. on WSQL 1240 AM or 102.1FM;   Calvary— Calvary Baptist Church is excited about our church wide camping trip October 4 & 5th! We will be feeding the Brevard High School Blue Devil JV and Varsity football teams again on October 17 & 18th.  The players and coaches are so polite and appreciative, and we really enjoy doing it!! October 24-26 we will be traveling to Vermillion Ohio to the First Baptist Church to assist them in hosting a festival, and we are very excited to see how God uses us there! October 31st we will have our annual Truck or Treat!  It’s also Pastor Appreciation Month, and even though we appreciate Pastor Jeremy all year long, we would like to recognize him.  Church at See Off—Every First Wednesday—Dinner Fellowship.  Cove—Sunday Worship at 10:30 a.m. and Prayer Meeting at 5:30 each Thursday evening; Chair/set up 10:00 each Saturday;  Welcome New Church Re-Plant at Dunn’s Creek address, The Church at See Off with new pastor, Pastor Michael Childers (Cheryl) began June 30.   East ForkEast Fork will be hosting a “Walk Though the Bible” trunk or treat on October 31st from 6-8pm on Main Street in Rosman.  There will be free food for everyone, candy for the kids, and everybody is welcome.  EnonChristian Comedian Scott Davis coming to the church on Sunday evening, October 6th between 6:30-8:30. There will be a love offering taken. Morningside—Looking for a new pastor.  Rocky HillVisit to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter is October 7, 8 and 9.   Please let the church office know if you are interested in going.  Zion—Monthly Food Giveaway;  Zion has a new pastor—Pastor Aaron Whitmire.  Welcome Pastor Aaron!!!
